I’m Caron, founder of Strelitzia Events. I’ve been organising events for over 15 years, with more than a decade’s worth of experience in media, marketing and publishing, predominantly in the property and financial sectors.
It has always been my mission to produce results-driven events that get people talking. Details matter, and I’ve witnessed first hand what really defines a successful event (and what simply doesn’t work).
This is achieved through having an in-depth understanding of the host company, audience and ultimate aim—the basis of a true partnership. A plan is devised using an end-to-end solution that takes it from a party to part of your overall marketing strategy.
We know which venues work for which type of event, and which type of event pairs perfectly with each occasion, demographic and goal. Every detail is taken care of; a plan B and C come as standard. Most importantly, however, you and your guests will have a great time. And, in the end, isn’t that what it’s all about?
Strelitzia Events stands with organisations that are committed to furthering progress for working women, whether that is in the realm of returnship schemes, school-level career programmes, tackling bias, exposure to upskilling, increasing the profile of women in the media—any action that will not only see more women in leadership positions in the UK, but which gets us closer to equality in terms of job satisfaction in general.
To this end, a proportion of our work will be done on a pro bono basis, where we waive our fee for events that seek to achieve the above aim. It can be difficult to get these endeavours off the ground, often due to under-funding or a lack of resource, and we want to do our part in giving them a chance to make an impact through events.
